For my birthday recently my family went to my favorite Disney park – The Magic Kingdom!
First order of business, go to City Hall and get a button so everyone knows its my birthday. Woot!
Then we had a quick lunch at the Starbucks on Main Street but the smores tart was warm and amazing. According to my brother they have these at most Starbucks, to which I asked why I had not been informed of this previously.
Look! Wild life!
Over to Adventureland, where Jack Sparrow was giving lessons on how to be a pirate. Sign me up. I got to go up on stage and they gave me a certificate saying that I was a certified pirate!
Jack Sparrow – Captain Jack Sparrow – made eye contact when I was pledging to join his crew and then winked and said that “made him very happy”. Haha. I also got him to laugh when instead of swearing to “always share my treasure with the captain” I said that I “would share my treasure most of the time”.
Then my family headed to our collective favorite ride – Big Thunder Mountain!
Festival of Fantasy – so much fun!
Rapunzel! My special favorite. 🙂
Time for a quick frozen treat!
Headed over to fantsyland to meet Gaston!
We went to see Merida! Her hair is to die for!
Outside Merida’s meeting spot, there was more wildlife! Sooo cute.
Some Cinderella mice were making friends outside the castle!
We stopped for dinner at the Liberty Inn Tavern. For my birthday dinner my only request was that I wanted a sit down meal, and even that might not have been possible to get a reservation for last minute but my parents are wonderful and found the Liberty Inn Tavern. Liberty Inn Tavern was tasty! Everything is served family style, and it’s a recreation of Thanksgiving dinner. Yum.
They noticed my birthday button and brought our dessert with a candle in it. Cuteee.
And yes Taylor, I am feeling 22.
